About

Damien specializes in working with individuals with brain injuries, the military and veteran populations, as well as the LGBTQIA+ community to help cope with chronic and new conditions such as burn out, depression, anxiety, or just the day to day struggles anyone might face.  Damien can help you explore how to cope with conflict, boundaries, and adjustment after changes in your life that have already happened or ones about to come up.  Life comes with so many challenges and roadblocks and moving through them with help can make them seem much more manageable.

Background and Approach

Damien served four years in the Army right after high school then got a Masters degree from Temple University in Social Work.  After working in a brain injury rehabilitation clinic, they learned many skills to help individuals with chronic conditions, memory difficulties, grief and loss, cognitive challenges, and conflict resolution.  Damien enjoys molding therapy into what you would like it to be, whether it is talk therapy, writing, drawing, chatting over games, whatever makes you feel comfortable and helps you navigate life’s roadblocks, they are here to listen.
